Critiques:

• Candle Drip Flower Vase - 7" x 7" x 7" , Made - 1/8/2024

• The multilayered glazing produced a great blend of colors (mystic pine on pikes purple), which was only overlapped slightly. This caused the two colors to mix into new patterns and textures. In future use with these two colors, I will continue overlapping in a waved line to create an ocean wave effect

• A rim around the base of the vase was wiped clean of any glaze. This left a space for extra glaze to slide down, creating a dripping effect on the bottom of the piece. Next time add multiple colors

• The neck of the vase curves at the top creating a slanted half to hold flowers. If performed again on other pieces continue accentuating this curve, which will help highlight the flowers themselves, like done with this vase
